Me, reading news article, does not really take anyone's copyright away - it does not take away anything from anyone. Stealing chocolate bar is completely different thing.

You take/use something that you didn't have permission to have/use or give proper compensation for, that's pretty much the definition of stealing.

It really always has been, it's just that now now the internet has made it easier to steal and easier to track and catch people.

Copyright theft is theft, and the Internet makes it pretty easy to do. However if you have a simple option selected in your web browser to disable 3rd party cookies (which I recommend that you have enabled) and this in turn allows you to view a website that is attempting to make you pay, I don't agree that this is theft. You are not doing anything wrong and it is up to the guardian to implement stronger security as their first attempt was a pretty poor attempt! It would be like trying to make you pay for a concert and you standing in the field right beside and watching/listening since they didn't put up a proper fence.... ]]>

This is a deal between two businesses where one is buying the assets of another. While there are taxpayers dollars in the mix on outstanding loans, and as a creditor, the Province had to OK the deal, they have no legal right to publish any details of the deal. This would violate just about every privacy law in the province and country. That being said, as a publicly traded company, much of the Financials of the deal from that perspective will have to be reported to share holders and have to be reported in Securities filing. They are a b&^th to read, but the info will eventually be released in those reports.

The original deal was over two years ago and we still do not know the details in it.

Portable cleaners do not have the deep suction that truck mounted ones do. Properly done - a truck mounted cleaning system will give you almost new carpets. And dry much faster.

Ignore any efforts to up sell you any sort of protective sprays after the cleaning. They tend to wear down quickly in high traffic areas.

The PEI Rocket organization is having a press conference at 10:00 A.M. Monday morning, May 27, in the main lobby of the Charlottetown Civic Centre.

At this time, details of: rebranding, including the new name of the team and image of the new logo; the 2013-14 season ticket campaign; and the latest additions to the recently announced ownership group (upon final sale of the team) will be released.

Speaking will be: Trent Birt – VP of Operations for the team; Geoff Boyle – an owner of the team when the deal is finalized; and Clifford Lee - Honourable Mayor for the City of Charlottetown.

The PEI Rocket organization is having a press conference at 10:00 A.M. Monday morning, May 27, in the main lobby of the Charlottetown Civic Centre.

At this time, details of: rebranding, including the new name of the team and image of the new logo; the 2013-14 season ticket campaign; and the latest additions to the recently announced ownership group (upon final sale of the team) will be released.

Speaking will be: Trent Birt – VP of Operations for the team; Geoff Boyle – an owner of the team when the deal is finalized; and Clifford Lee - Honourable Mayor for the City of Charlottetown.

The majority of shareholders for the new ownership group will be in attendance.

Hope they move to another province...I have never seen so much poor quality merchandise in one building in my life!
I wouldn't go that far, but their floor plan leaves a lot to be desired.....not a very easy place to shop and I often wondered how the physically challenged can manage to get around that place.... ]]>

Obviously you get what you pay for; when going to a greasy spoon you aren't expecting fine dining.

For comparable price you can get Sam's or Linda's, both of which are superior. And Maids is a world apart from Red's Corner in Poole's Corner (I need to do a review on this place, such a treat!)... ]]>

Nope. A speeding ticket will cost you A LOT more in Ontario then it will here. If I speed here or I speed there the result is still the same, I am guilty of speeding and got caught. Not knowing the fines/surcharges cost more is not an excuse or reason to get out of paying it.

Same as if you go to a different country. They have different laws. If you go there ignorant of their laws and get caught doing something that's ok to do here in Canada guess what, your in their country you play by their rules.
